Autumnal Lunch Hour

I thought that I really had not taken any Autumn photos, so decided to get out one sunny, chilly lunch hour and this is what I came up with.

Mr. Groundhog looking for his winter hibernation.  So he hasn't started yet.

Along my river bank, where I often eat my summer lunches, it's so peaceful along here.

Love these roots hanging over the creek.

Further along here are some black walnut trees.  I saw on Michelle Palmer's blog that you can make ink from Black Walnuts, which sounds really interesting.  I think I am going to give it a go.

Old gnarled trees.

Cabled vines.

Another little park area not far away.

The Scream.  I have seen this tree many times, but it wasn't until I looked through the lens of my camera that I saw that face, The Scream.

A nursery on the way back to the office.  I love this time of year with all the pumpkins and the mums, winter pansies and kale.

So just a peek into my one hour lunch break.
