Vogue - The Ultimate Suffolk Puff/YoYo Shawl

Hi Dear Folk,

This is in this year's Vogue pattern book, it has to be the ultimate Suffolk Puff/Yo Yo shawl.  So beautiful with an evening dress or even with a wedding dress.

Still working with my Suffolk Puffs.

Was a fun weekend now that Mr. B. does not work on Saturdays we actually get to go out together and do things.  It was a beautiful sunny day with the crispness of winter.  I got to try a Vietnamese take out place called Banh Street, I had a hot chicken sandwich on excellent baguette bread, but I felt it needed more Vietnamese veg, especially the sweet pickled daikon cabbage.  Good sandwich but not as authentic as our sandwich in Brooklyn.  Lots of bakeries in this area we ran across this one Weinrich's Bakery in Willow Grove, where we bought a chocolate éclair with custard in and I bought a white powder donut with white cream in.  You see Mr. B. loves yellow custard filled pastries and I like them filled with white cream.

On to a few thrift shops in the area, some fun finds, music CD's for Mr. B., Clark shoes, silver flamingo pin, blue Japanese ceramic book mark and blue spode china.  Home, no need to cook dinner as we still had the balance of our sandwiches to eat, so a nice day out.

  2. The shawl is beautiful. Glad you are enjoying your Saturdays together. Yes it would take a lot to beat the Vietnamese sandwiches we had. You had a good haul in the thrift shop as usual. The ceramic book mark sounds interesting.
