Hi Dear Folk,
Mr. B. and I decided to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary a few days early. It was a last minute decision, as he had taken Saturday off work, for us to attend the Warwick, NY dedication, which was relayed to each Kingdom Hall. Here is a little information about the building.
I had promised to take him to Bowman's Tavern, a while ago, so we had lunch here, with all the little extras ordering oyster h'orderves, and Mr. B. had chili and I had a Moscow mule. We both had Reuben sandwiches, the meat there is very good because they smoke their own, a Reuben includes sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing as opposed to a Pastrami which includes coleslaw instead of sauerkraut, but otherwise is the same.
We later went onto New Hope and I took him to the French Patisserie, where I had a coffee Religieuse, I love them, and a chai latter, Bob had a chocolate mousse cake. I also stopped in the little Indian shop and was able to get the Jasmine Perfume, which was now in stock. A fun day and beautiful weather, no photos.
This was Henry Sleeper's first bedroom, which he had until his mother died, she lived with him. The bedroom looks across Gloucester Bay.
The wallpaper has an Indian design with elephants etc. It's truly hard to see, also he somehow waxed the wallpaper to preserve it, but all is original which is lovely.
