3. The Woman and The Seed Tour, The Met False Tomb Door


False tomb door for spirits to enter; too small for humans.  Relates to Egyptian belief in immortality of the soul.  Mummification was for religious purposes.

All cultures have a festival to honor the dead and this falls around October 31st to November 2nd, All Hallows Day and All Souls' Day.
