12. The Woman and The Seed Tour, The Met Isis, Horus and Mother Son Worship

The statue above is Isis with Horus on her lap, connected to mother/son worship.  Horus was born December 25th as was Nimrod.  The celebration of rebirth of the sun. Nimrod's wife, who was also his mother Semiramis claimed, after his untimely death, that a full grown evergreen sprang up overnight out of a dead tree stump, which symbolized the springing forth to new life of the dead Nimrod to become a spirit/god.  She taught that on the anniversary of his birth, Nimrod would visit the evergreen tree and leave gifts under the tree.

The historian, Professor Hislop, says: “Now the Yule Log is the dead stock of Nimrod, deified as the sun-god, but cut down by his enemies; the Christmas-tree is Nimrod redivivus—the slain god come to life again.”—The Two Babylons, pages 97, 98.
