I love cardinals, probably because you don't have to be an exceptional bird watcher to see them. I love to see the male and female together as in the one photo.

What exceptional photos! I love cardinals too. Their bright red just brightens up any scene--especially the browns and muted greens of winter.

ReplyDeletegreat photos! i like the last one particularly. we don't have cardinals where i live, but i remember spotting them on the east coast where i lived as a kid. beautiful birds.
