I want a pair of those black lace up shoes, I rather like those. The singing was enjoyable Blue Birds Over The White Cliffs of Dover and to watch the dancers do the Lindy step etc was quite fascinating. The wartime photographer made it seem all quite authentic.

The 40's music and dancing is my favourite. I suppose a lot of it was so lively to lift people's spirits. The event looks good fun.
